Understanding Behaviour Before It Escalates

With years of experience in education as a teacher, mentor, student coordinator and team coordinator, I have worked closely with young people and seen how stress, emotions and challenging behaviour can influence their choices and development.
During my Master’s in Psychology, specialising in Clinical Psychology, my research focused on young people and behavioural change, including student resilience, financial barriers affecting students, and coaching interventions aimed at changing negative behavioural habits.

For my Master’s thesis, I researched teachers’ self-efficacy when dealing with physically aggressive student behaviour.
This led to a question I want to explore further:
“What happens before behaviour escalates and how can we intervene earlier?”

Here, I combine psychology, education, research and practical experience to explore youth behaviour, resilience and emotional regulation with the aim of creating meaningful change for young people.
